✨ Our Unique Debut Litter

This combination has been planned with a big heart, cherishing the health, beautiful anatomy, easy-to-manage coat quality, and easy-going family companion nature of the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. Our goal is to breed healthy, well-balanced, and well-structured Wheatens that retain the breed's original working capability and wise temperament.

The greatest and most valuable foundation of this litter is the sire’s pure Irish lineage, combined with the exceptional vitality and longevity found in both parents' bloodlines:

• The Sire's Heritage: The sire of the litter, Marlow edustaa edustaa represents a pure Irish line, renowned for its authentic, silky, and easy-care coat quality, as well as a strong terrier character. Marlow lived an exceptionally healthy and active life, passing away at the venerable age of over 15 years. He left behind wonderful, internationally successful champion and performance offspring across Europe.
• The Dam's Heritage: An equally strong vitality flows through Prisca’s bloodline. Her grandsire, our kennel’s late foundation male Cassu (Von Jungfruborg Cameron), lived a healthy life with us until nearly 15 years of age. Prisca’s own sire, Jouco, is still going strong, full of joy and energy at the impressive age of nearly 12 years.

🏡 Home-Raised and Carefully Nurtured

Every litter of ours is thoroughly considered and planned. Our puppies grow up at the heart of our home and family life, becoming accustomed to normal household noises, people, and other dogs.

We invest heavily in the early socialization of the puppies. They are introduced to various stimuli, regular handling, grooming routines, and outdoor life (weather permitting) tailored to each development stage. Our goal is to find the perfect, loving home for each individual puppy.

🎓 What We Offer to Our Puppy Buyers

We want to give our puppies the best possible start and support our owners throughout the dog's life. Lumina Polaris puppies are delivered:

• At approximately 8 weeks of age
• Registered with the Finnish Kennel Club (Suomen Kennelliitto) and microchipped
• Dewormed multiple times
• Examined by a veterinarian (with a written health certificate)
• Clean, washed, and groomed
• 🧬 Fully DNA-tested (MyDogDNA Litter Pack): Each puppy comes with its own official DNA report, confirming parentage and providing valuable data on its inherited health, carrier statuses, and genetic diversity. These results are officially approved by the Finnish Kennel Club.

🩺 Together for the Dog's Health

We want to find loving, cooperative homes for our puppies, maintaining close contact throughout the dog's life. Because I place a strong emphasis on health, I hope and require that all our breedings undergo official health screenings as adults, even if they are meant purely as family companions.

When purchasing a puppy, we commit together to having the dog officially screened once fully grown for hip, elbow, and spine X-rays, as well as an official eye examination. To make attending these health screenings as easy as possible for the owner, Lumina Polaris kennel will pay for the official Kennel Club health referral fees on your behalf!

• A comprehensive puppy pack: Includes a toy, a blanket, information brochures, written feeding and grooming instructions, and the familiar puppy food they have been eating at our home.
• Lifelong grooming support: I commit to grooming my breedings for their entire lifetime (for both pet and show clips).
• Breed Club Membership: We will register and pay for the new owner's first year of membership in the Finnish Kerry and Wheaten Terrier Club (Kerry- ja vehnäterrierikerho ry).
